The relation between land use and morphological units shows that agriculture is overall predominant. The main form of agriculture is cereal cropping and fallow (intensifying soil erosion). This applies especially in the Undulating areas. Only in the Mountain tops and Shallow valleys areas is pasture land the predominant land use. The remaining forests are almost all located in the Mountain tops and Steep slopes areas (Beck et al. 2004, 39/40). Which soil conservation measures are practiced is shown if you follow this hyperlink.
