Our current research is focused on clouds: how they form, how they influence the climate, and how they are changing as a result of climate change. Our approach is cross-scale and combines microphysical, dynamic, and applied aspects of cloud physics. We use a variety of numerical models, most of which we develop ourselves. Here, we combine highly idealized and very detailed approaches.
