One important part of project management is project controlling. It means that the project is let my one or a group of persons.
This person/team has to have the authority over important aspects in different phases of the project. The team leader has the authority in the team and is assigned to make decisions, which everybody has to follow. This person/team is responsible for the effectively of the steps of the project.
Within a project, different aspects of controlling are of significance. This comprises schedule control, efficiency control and budget control. The project controller reports and documents the experiences and progresses within the project.
