Initial Psychological Counseling

support.point

Dear students,

Do you sometimes feel lost or overwhelmed in your everyday university life? Whether you have doubts about your choice of subject, exam stress or procrastination, social anxiety and loneliness in the hustle and bustle of the big city, or are looking for a psychotherapy place in Berlin – our psychologists at the support.points can advise you on these and all other issues relating to mental well-being.

In an initial consultation, concerns and needs can be clarified and further assistance options can be given. Consultations are confidential and we are bound by professional secrecy. All support.points are open to all students and employees of FU. This means you are free to choose which support.point you would like to visit. If desired, consultations can also be conducted anonymously.

The psychologist responsible for the support.point in the Department of Earth Sciences is Julian Rau. He offers open consultation hours once a week on the Lankwitz campus in Building G, Room 115. In addition, it is possible to book online counseling appointments.

The current office hours and the link to book an appointment can be found on the support.points website (details on the individual locations can be found at the bottom of the website).

If you have any questions or other concerns, please contact Mr. Rau at support.point.geo@studienberatung.fu-berlin.de.

Further information on the support.points (locations and office hours), as well as information on finding a psychotherapy, can also be found on the Mental-Wellbeing-Website.
