Results

 

The topics for the intercomparison of the different model radiation schemes were the shortwave and longwave radiation rates and their deviations from the reference model, the shortwave heating rates and the longwave cooling rates as vertical profiles for selected areas(Tropics, midlatitude, arctic and antarctic areas).

January is the reference month for all plots.

The plots are arranged as followed:

 

• Vertical profiles of the the model shortwave heating rates, and their deviations from the reference model:
