On the 27th of April 2023, our working group contributed to the 'GirlsDay 2023` with a short workshop on the topic of deforestation and mapping. We welcomed 8 girls between the ages of 12 and 14 and introduced them to the Software ArcMap with the objective of producing maps on deforestation in Brasil between the years 2016 and 2020. We want to thank all participating parties, we feel this project was a great success and look forward to the upcoming MINToring project.
