A "golden" service: The new working cabin of the Earth Sciences Library
News from Mar 21, 2022
All that glitters is not gold? - In this case it is, because the Earth Sciences Library has recently made available yet another work cubicle for soundproof learning in addition to the previous group study rooms and the freshly introduced "Haven Pod".
The new cubicle, designed in the fashionable colours of gold and wine red, is located on the ground floor directly in front of the textbook collection and, in addition to a soundproofed working atmosphere, offers lighting that can be adjusted via remote control as well as a self-service ventilation system. Dimmed light for your presentations? Suitable lighting conditions for the warm and cold seasons? Flood light or a single spotlight for moments of relaxation? - No problem! With the help of manually adjustable lighting elements, the work booth provides optimal illumination and lighting before, during and after the learning process.
The room also has a group table, which currently offers space for 4 people. In contrast to the previously introduced Haven Pod, the new work cabin can also be locked and is equipped with a curtain on the inside to offer learners the most undisturbed and quiet working atmosphere possible.
