Sole won the Georg Forster Research Fellowship which is granted by the Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Foundation for researchers in all disciplines from emerging countries, who have above-average qualifications. Her project focuses on identifying an optimized network of conservation areas for the paleochannel grasslands in the Argentine Dry Chaco, considering various conservation agreements, ecosystem services and integrating participatory feedback from actor groups to co-produce optimized spatial planning solutions.
