DINGHO
DINGHO – Decentralised, integrated and trans-boundary flood protection in the German-Czech river basins near the mountain ridge of the Central Ore Mountains
The main objective of the "DINGHO" project is to improve cross-border flood protection in the catchments in the ridges of the Central Ore Mountains with special regard to second-order streams in the subcatchments of the Upper Floeha (upstream of the town of Olbernhau). With the help of the measures of decentralised, integrated flood protection, an ecological and sustainable development of the border area will be supported and environmental risks will be reduced (reduction of risk potentials by flood protection). Thereby the project contributes to the improvement of cross-border cooperation and networking in terms of flood protection.
