Academic Career

since 09/2009 PhD student, Institute of Meteorology, Freie Universität Berlin
2003 Master of Science in Computational Science (Climate Dynamics), George Mason University - Center for Ocean-Land-Atmosphere Studies, Calverton (Maryland), USA.
1991 Diploma in Geography, (Geoecology & Meteorology), Johannes Gutenberg-University, Mainz.

Research Interests

I use observations and/or models to examine physico-chemical processes in the area of air quality, bio-atmosphere interactions, and change and variability in the earth system. Currently, I focus on feedback processes in the climate-ocean system and how those are reflected in variations in earth rotation parameters.
