Additional Collaborators
IDAlert
- IDAlert is one of six European research and innovation projects funded by HADEA under Horizon Europe, and as part of the European Climate Change and Health Cluster. They develop tools such as apps tailored to key stakeholders and citizen science initiatives. We collaborate with them on the Germany case and hope to benefit from their app-focus for stakeholder and public engagement in dissemination.
ICYBAC GmbH
- ICYBAC emerged out of KABS e.V., a registered association recognized as a non-profit organization with more than 30 years of experience working on Aedes mosquitoes. They support our field studies in Germany.
Charité University of Medicine
- In a project funded by the Berlin University Alliance, PI Uli Beisel cooperates with the research group of virologist Prof. Dr. Sandra Junglen in a project on how new city planning approaches on water management (sponge cities) affect mosquito diversity and abundance in Berlin. We focus mainly on Culex pipiens and West-Nile-Virus, but clear synergies between the project exist and are developed.
