Seit Oktober 2019 bin ich als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin Teil der Arbeitsgruppe Globalisierung, Transformation & Gender and der Freien Universität Berlin.

Ich studierte Internationale Beziehungen mit den Schwerpunkten internationale Finanz- und Entwicklungspolitik, globale Ungleichheit und Migration in Großbritannien, China und Japan. Meinen Master in Refugee & Forced Migration Studies absolvierte ich als Vollstipendiatin der University of Oxford.

Vor meiner Rückkehr an die Universität war ich sowohl in verschiedenen angewandten Forschungsprojekten als auch für NGOs und Stiftungen in Deutschland, Nepal, Jordanien, dem Libanon und Indien tätig und engagierte mich als wissenschaftliche Lektorin beim Oxford Monitor of Forced Migration Review.

Aktuell interessiere ich mich besonders für die Digitalisierung von Haushaltsnahen Dienstleistungen wie z.B. Putzen, Einkaufen, älteren Menschen Gesellschaft leisten. In meiner Promotion nehme ich die Perspektive migrantischer Arbeiter*innen in den Blick und untersuche, inwiefern sich neue Handlungsspielräume aber auch neue Herausforderungen durch Algorithmus-basierte Arbeitsvermittlung ergeben.
