Soil conservation measures
Terraces cover 7.8 % of the Gina River catchment (see figure).

Their occurrence show differences in the geographical distribution: these are located especially in the central-western, central-eastern and north-western part of the Gina River catchment.
Walls cover only 0.1 % of the catchment basin. These are located in the central-western and southern part.
It was detected that the soil conservation measures are poorly maintained, especially in the central-eastern and north-western part.
