2 Monitoring the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index and Normalized Burn Ratio

The following chapters will deal with ways to monitor the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI) and the Normalized Burn Ratios (NBR) for different sensors in the Google Earth Engine. This includes preparing a base dataset, calculating the specific spectral index, monitoring it with the help of Difference Images, charts and area statistics as well as a final comparison of the results.
