William studied geosciences at the Freie Universität Berlin, where he received his bachelor's degree in 2019 and his master's degree in 2022. In his thesis he developed methods to detect microseismic events in DAS (Distributed Acoustic Sensing) recordings. From October 2022, he started his PhD at the geophysics group of the FU Berlin. His research focuses on DAS signatures of hydraulic fracture-induced microseismicity in EGS and unconventional reservoirs.
