New Project Funded: TIPSY – Tipping Points in River Systems

We’re thrilled to announce that our proposal
“TIPSY: Tipping Points in River Systems – Uncovering Unknown Risks for Smarter Mitigation”
has been approved for funding by the Volkswagen Foundation under the call
“Pioneering Research – Exploring the Unknown Unknown.”

This is a major collaborative project with a duration of 5 years and a total budget of over €1.2 million. The project will investigate critical thresholds and risks in river systems to support more effective and informed mitigation strategies.

We look forward to kicking off this exciting research in early 2026!
