Carolin Leitl joined us as a PhD student in October 2025.

Her dissertation focuses on Acquiring a better understanding of the transport process of microbial contaminants in karst aquifer systems.

Carolin obtained her M.Sc. in Biotechnology more specific in Marine Biotechnology at Bremerhaven University of Applied Sciences and B.Sc. in Industrial Biotechnology at Ansbach University of Applied Sciences.
