Early differentiation processes in terrestrial planets and moons. 

Formation and early evolution of the earth’s crust. Using radiogenic isotopes (e.g. Rb, Sr) as tracers for applications such as plate velocities and mass transport.

Studying early solar system processes and elemental distributions using meteorites.
