Work Packages

  • WP 1 (Dr. Christian Freier): Integration of the field gravimeter, improvement of absolute accuracy, integration of modules, and preparation of field measurements.
  • WP 2 (Prof. Achim Peters, Dr. Christian Freier): Preparation, execution, and evaluation of comparison measurements between the atom gravimeters of Humboldt University and the field gravimeter to validate measurement accuracy.
  • WP 3 (Dr. Stephan Costabel): Preparation and implementation of a field study, including site selection and evaluation of existing hydrogeological data.
  • WP 4 (Dr. Stephan Costabel, Prof. Nadine Göppert, Dr. Christian Freier): Preparation and execution of hydrogravimetric measurements to improve hydrogeological modeling and the quantum sensor through multiple measurement campaigns.
  • WP 5 (Prof. Nadine Göppert): Software development and investigation of groundwater recharge in an aquifer to validate gravimeter measurements and expand the range of applications.
  • WP 6 (Dr. Christian Freier, Prof. Achim Peters, Dr. Enrico Vogt): Testing of a new laser system concept for gravimetric atom interferometry, verification with the gravimeter at Humboldt University, and investigation of the Raman laser module and MTS module.
  • WP 7 (Dr. Enrico Vogt): Investigation of the feasibility of a miniaturized frequency reference module with dynamic frequency control, high accuracy, and stability.
  • WP 8 Sustainability Considerations: Comprehensive sustainability assessment of the method and work steps, including analysis of ecological, economic, and social impacts as well as identification of potential improvements for sustainability.
