The Impact of the Transformation Process on Human-Environmental Interactions in Southern Kyrgyzstan

The research project analyzed the effects of the post-Soviet transformation process on human-environmental interrelationships in South Kyrgyzstan. Applying a political ecology approach as a conceptual framework, research addressed the nexus of socio-economic and environmental change by focusing on changing management of natural resources under different political systems.
