As part of the 2024 Disaster Risk Reduction Conference titled On the Edge? Katastrophenvorsorge in unsicheren Zeiten on 22 & 23 April, the KFS will be represented with two sessions.

Peter Windsheimer will present the SEMSAI research project together with representatives of the partner organisations DFKI and ITWM in the online workshop The SEMSAI Research Project - Predicting the Development of Pandemics on Monday at 16:15 o’clock.

On Tuesday, Dr Cordula Dittmer and Dr Daniel F. Lorenz will lead through the face-to-face workshop Nothilfe in und für die Ukraine – Lessons to learn für den deutschen Zivil-/Bevölkerungsschutz at 11:15 o’clock. Nicolas Bock will give a presentation on German civil defence.
