Ombudsperson for Good Research Practice
Scientific integrity is the foundation of trustworthy science. In their academic work students, doctoral candidates, supervisors and researchers are obliged to follow the rules of good academic practice. Although these rules are taught during studies and everyday research, there are times when questions and doubts arise about one's own work or the work of others.
In such cases the department offers help and advice. An ombudsperson from the department is available to answer questions and discuss matters in confidence. If you have any questions about guidelines of good scientific practice, suspect scientific misconduct or have a conflict, for example about authorship, talk to the ombudsperson, who will help you find the right way out of an unpleasant or critical situation in everyday scientific life.
