At the moment, there are no official printers with payment functionality available in our library.

If you need to print something, please contact the circulation desk staff. We can provide both black-and-white and color printing services.

Our university library is committed to the sustainability mission statement and environmental guidelines of Freie Universität Berlin. “Sustainability and Responsibility” has been established as one of seven core values in the 2020–2025 strategy. To support sustainable research, teaching, and studying in everyday life, the university library has decided to gradually replace print and copy services with free digital reproduction options and to reduce paper printing in the medium term.

The new printer is already installed in the library, but we are currently waiting for it to be put into operation. The university library is working closely with FUBIT to finalize and implement the new printing concept as soon as possible.
