Related to the morphological units of the Gina River catchment, terraces occur mainly in Steep slope areas, followed by Undulating areas and Deep valleys (Beck et al. 2004, 43-45).

Relation between soil conservation measures and slopes

Both soil conservation measures are practised on slopes of 9-18 %. Steeper and gentler slopes have fewer soil conservation measures.
