In summer 2023, the Berlin Geographical Papers series published at the Institute of Geographical Sciences was relaunched; the first volumes have now been published after the relaunch.

 
The most important changes are:

• New editors: Prof. Dr. Uli Beisel, Prof. Dr. Antonie Schmiz, Prof. Dr. Martin Voss, PD Dr. Stefan Schütte, Dr. Andrei Dörre
• Digital-only: no more printed copies are produced
• The journal is published under an open licence (CC BY-SA)

 
The Berlin Geographical Papers are published in the Refubium of the Freie Universität (Weblink). Information on older (print) editions is available on this website. The Berlin Geographical Papers series publishes master's theses, reports from teaching research projects and working papers from the Human Geography working groups at the Institute of Geographical Sciences at Freie Universität Berlin. Until volume 35, the name of the series was "Occasional Papers Geography"; the first volume of this series was published in 1987.
