Plagiarism, along with falsification and manipulation of data, is one of the absolute no-gos in academia. But what exactly is plagiarism? In the first part of the session, we will look at different forms of plagiarism. We will also discuss how to detect and avoid it.
In the second part, we will examine whether plagiarism still plays a role in the age of AI. The central question here is how AI-generated texts and other content can be used in accordance with the rules of good scientific practice and the key issues paper of the Free University of Berlin.
