Wyoming Fieldwork
Dr. Emanuel Tschopp and his PhD student Tom van der Linden spent the summer in the deserts of Wyoming looking at dinosaur bones and collecting sediment samples for our exiting project on the paleoenvironment of the famous Morrison Formation, which houses animals like Brontosaurus, Allosaurus and Stegosaurus. The samples came from beautiful, historic sites, such as the Howe Ranch and the Como Bluffs, where paleontologists have been digging for dinosaurs for over 100 years!
