Space-time data naturally occurs in Geomorphology, e.g. in climatology, hydrology or landscape evolution. The underlying processes are characterized by space-time dynamics, which are frequently modelled by stochastic partial differential equations (SPDEs).

Anton Tiepner was invited as a junior speaker to the workshop Pathways into Mathematics of SPDEs, taking place at Heidelberg University 9-11 March 2026.

He spread his insights and experiences on SPDEs in Geology to the broader, mostly mathematical-driven community, bridging the gap between applications and theory.
