Regarding to a whole landscape, there is a typical sequence of different soil protection measures.
Soil protection for crop land is similar to grassland: Steep sloped shall be covered by forest and closed for animals and less steep sloped are (with regard to the above mentioned techniques) formed for different purposes.Soil bunds have two effects: the reduction of surface runoff and the increase of soil moisture.
