City Measurement Network

The Berlin City Measurement Network is operated by the Institute of Meteorology and comprises several stations that measure data such as temperature, precipitation and wind speed at one-minute intervals. The WMO station in Berlin-Dahlem is one of these stations.

Berliner Reihe since 1908

The so-called "Berliner Reihe" contains daily data from 1766 to 1934.
Since 1908 data on temperature, precipitation and sunshine duration have been recorded continuously in Dahlem.
We currently operate a weather station that reports data internationally, thereby continuing this long series of weather and climate records.

Climate statistics

You can find various current daily values that are compared with the reference period.
Has it been too warm or too cold over the past few days?
Has there been too much or too little rainfall?
Has there been plenty of sunshine or very little?
