Anne Bernhardt from the Sedimentary Systems group will give a talk at the 52nd Annual Conference of the German Society for Geomorphology (DGGM) in Heidelberg.
Her presentation, “From rivers to submarine canyons: glacial rewiring of sediment and carbon pathways,” explores how glacial landscape change can reorganize the pathways through which sediment and carbon are transported from rivers to the deep sea.
The DGGM Annual Conference 2026 brings together researchers from across the geomorphology community to present and discuss current research on landscape processes, Earth surface dynamics, and environmental change.
Further information about the conference and its scientific programme is available on the DGGM Annual Conference 2026 website .
