Saturnian moon Iapetus

Saturnian moon Iapetus

The Saturnian moon Iapetus has a diameter of almost 1500 kilometers. Iapetus is the outermost of the so-called regular moons of Saturn. In addition to the equatorial ridge, the global albedo dichotomy is noticeable. It divides the surface of the moon into a very dark and a bright part.
