China is the first nation to land a spacecraft on the far side of the Moon. The sophisticated maneuver was performed successfully on 3rd January 2019. Radio communication to the Moon's far side was done with the help of the relay satellite Queqiao that reached the Moon already last year. The Chang'e 4 spacecraft has been launched 8 December 2018, and went into orbit around the Moon four days later. Chinas ambitious Lunar Exploration Program is going to bring a human to the surface of the Moon until 2030.
