NASAs Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) wins an Emmy Award for the Cassini Grand Finale interactive program. The Emmys in the category Creative Arts were awarded on 8 September 2018 in the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.

The Cassini-Huygens spacecraft has been launched in 1997 to Saturn in order to observe the ring planet and its moons. On 15 September 2017, the controlled crash into Saturn's atmosphere marked the end of the long-time successful mission.
