The German Research Foundation (DFG) is providing over 12 million euros in funding over the next four years for the new Collaborative Research Center (CRC) 1759, “Habitability as a Fundamental Planetary Process: Towards a Paradigm Shift Away from Our Perception of the Uniqueness of Earth,” which is based at Freie Universität Berlin and lead by Prof. Dr. Lena Noack.
