NASA scrubbed second Launch Attempt

NASA also scrubbed the second launch attempt of Artemis 1 on Saturday, Sep. 3th. About three hours prior to the launch from Cape Canaveral, Florida the start of the moon mission was postponed, due to a hydrogenleak. Mission managers decided to forego the additional launch atttempts in ealy September. NASA Administrator Bill Nelson mentioned a possible launch in the beginning or middle of october. Because of the complex orbital mechanics involved in launching to the Moon, NASA needs to wait until a new launch period opens. As for now no specific launch date is set. The launch periods listed here show launch availibilty through the end of 2022. The next period will start by Monday, Sep. 19.
