Emanuel D. Kästle presented a new shear-velocity model of the Alps, based on surface-wave measurements from ambient noise and earthquakes. It represents the first complete shear-velocity model of the region that shows both crustal and uppermost mantle structures.
Jörg Giese and Mark Handy presented a poster with the latest apatite fission track ages from the footwall of the Shkoder-Peja Normal Fault at the junction of the Dinarides and Hellenides.
