Clockwise: Maria Soledad Andrade-Diaz, María Piquer-Rodríguez and Ahuvit Trumper presenting at ECCB 26 in Leiden.
News from Jul 21, 2026
Members of our Modelling Human-Environmental Interactions (MHEI) group were presenting their work last week at the 8th European Congress of Conservation Biology (ECCB26) conference in Leiden. Three of our team members shared results spanning conservation, environmental justice, and transboundary governance across South America.
- Maria Soledad Andrade-Diaz "Different campesino-grassland relations, different conservation implications in the Argentine Dry Chaco"
- María Piquer-Rodríguez "A Shared Forest, Divergent Outcomes: Conservation of the Alto Paraná Atlantic Forest across National Borders"
- Ahuvit Trumper "Social-ecological well-being percepciones in the rural transboundary, Alto Paraná Atlantic forest"
Our sincere thanks to the organisers and everyone who joined our sessions at ECCB26 in Leiden last week. We were glad to be part of the conversation and look forward to carrying these discussions forward in our ongoing work.
