Congratulations to Jun.-Prof. Dr. María Piquer-Rodríguez, head of the MHEI working group, who has been honored with the Runner-up Rosalind Franklin Award for scientific integrity at Freie Universität Berlin. The jury recognized her development of practical "Data Agreement" templates that clearly regulate responsibilities and usage rights for research data, tools that are already being used in teaching and research at Freie Universität Berlin, adopted at other universities, and discussed at academic conferences. The award will be presented on November 25, the Day of Good Scientific Practice, alongside the main prize going to Dr. Anna Abalkina of the Institute for East European Studies, who was honored for her work exposing predatory journals and paper mills. The full announcement is available via the FU Coordination Office for Scientific Integrity.
