For presenters

For poster presenters (1st day of conference)

Outline of the poster presentation

Duration 150’

  • short introduction by the chair: max. 5’
  • Session 1: 15 brief project presentations, each max. 2'30'' (= 50’-60'), and an opportunity for a first short visit of the poster exhibition (15’-25’) (check schedule for order!)
  • Session 2: 15 brief project presentations, each max. 2’30'' (= 50’-60'), and an opportunity for a second short visit of the poster exhibition (15’-25’) (check schedule for order!)

Tasks of poster presentеrs

  • to introduce briefly the project (max. 2’30'') by showing the cooperation practices, the goals, the main questions and findings of the venture on maximum 3 projected slides (elements of the printed poster like schemes, illustrations, maps, charts etc.) (Please use PowerPoint or a compatible programme!)

  • explaining / discussing the project concerns during the first visits of the poster exhibition

  • For creating the presentation file, we need your contribution in advance. Please send your slides to Andrei Doerre until May 14.

 

For session presenters (2nd day of conference)

Outline of the thematic sessions

Duration 90’

  • short introduction by the chairs: 5’
  • presentation of projects and discussion: 3 x 25’ (15’ + 10’) (=75’)
  • final summary and recapitulation of contributions: 5’ – 10’

Tasks of presenters

  • to introduce the project (max. 15’) by presenting the cooperation practices, the goals, the main questions and findings of the venture (Please use PowerPoint or a compatible programme!)

  • explaining / discussing the project concerns during the discussion

 

For interventions in the panel discussion “International Academic Exchange for Human Capacity Building” (2nd day of conference)

Outline of the panel discussion

Duration 90'

  • short introduction by the chair: 5’
  • interventions: 2 x 10’ (= 20’)
  • panellist statements to the specific topic of the session: 4 x 5’ (= 20’)
  • panellist discussion: 40’
  • final summary and recapitulation of contributions: 5’

Tasks of the interventionists

  • introducing the specific topic of the panel discussion by presenting own experiences in this field
