In the WEXICOM project, the feature-representative online survey "Warning texts from the perspective of the population" started on March 12, 2021. The aim is to develop user group-specific warning texts. For this purpose, it will be investigated how different warning text modules are perceived and evaluated by the respondents in order to identify preferred text modules. The identification of the user groups is done by surveying the behavior of the respondents during extreme weather events and the importance of weather and weather forecasts in the everyday life of the study participants.
