On September 25, Dr. Katja Schulze presented selected results of a Germany-wide population survey on the perception of and reaction to the preliminary information on storm "Sabine" at the Extreme Weather Congress 2020. The data was collected within the framework of the research project Weather warnings: from EXtreme event Information to COMunication and action (WEXICOM III) funded by the Hans Ertel Center for Weather Research (HErZ) of the German Weather Service (DWD) approximately one week after storm "Sabine" in February 2020.
