From October 14th to November 8th Cordula Dittmer and Daniel F. Lorenz conducted field research about the social effects of the 2013 flash floods („Himalayan Tsunami“) in the Indian Himalaya as well as the reconstruction process in the region. This was the second field trip to the region after 2017. Most of the interviews with people affected took place in Guptakashi, Kedarnath, Chaumasi, Badrinath and Bhyundar.
