Presentation guidelines

Oral presentations

The time frame for oral presentations is 15 minutes talk plus 5 minutes discussion. Please bring your presentation on a common electronic data storage device like an USB drive or a CD/DVD. The authors are kindly asked to upload their presentations directly in the respective lecture room within 30 minutes preceding the start of the respective session block. A lecture room assistant will be available for any help.

Lecture room equipment

- Beamer

- Windows Notebook for the upload of presentations (USB Drive, DVD, CD)

- Remote control to switch slides including laser pointer

- Microphone

The Windows Notebook runs MS PowerPoint 2007 and Adobe Reader. Accepted presentation formats are PowerPoint or PDF. Make sure that any special characters are compatible with the provided software.

 

Poster presentations

Please prepare the poster in vertical format (1189 x 841 mm, German DIN A0). Bring the poster with you to the conference (do not send it in advance) and mount it yourself to the poster wall with the number announced in the conference program. The posters are fixed with pins, which will be provided at the location. Please do not use any glue or graffiti. The poster walls will be available for you at the day of your respective session from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The presenter is requested to be present at his/her poster during the poster session time. The best posters of young researches will be awarded.

 

 

There will be W-LAN access for all participants in the Seminaris Conference Center.
