The start-up metting of the project "Integrated Watershed Management Research and Development Capacity Building" in the framework of the DAAD funded programme "Welcome to Africa" was held 03.09..08.09.2012 in Nairoi, Kenya.

Next to the detailed planning of the action plan the so-called "living laboratory" in Kenya was chosen during the workshop as well as meetings with the Water Resources User Association (WRUA) and Water Resources Management Authority (WRMA) (see workshop programme and report of the start-up-metting).
