At the coast there are several features that are affected when there is a change in temperature. Generally an increase in the temperature leads to sea flooding due to rising sea level. This can also increase  the energy of the wave action and result formation of wave cut platforms, eroded pedestals, and cliffs at the edge of the sea.

   Stop and Think!

  b. Notch

  c. Sea cave
