Forecasts
The Tropospheric Environmental Research working group has developed a forecast system that generates pollution forecasts for ozone and particulate matter on the basis of the weather forecasts prepared by the German Weather Service (Deutscher Wetterdienst) and the observations of the air quality measurement networks operated by the states and the German Federal Environment Agency.
The forecast period is three days, starting with the preceding day.
