ESA’s ExoMars Rover needs a name! Scheduled to launch for the Red Planet in 2020, the U.K.-built rover will search for life on our neighboring planet. The rover will collect samples and analyse them autonomously.
To find a suitable name for the ExoMars rover, the UK Space Agency has set up a public naming competition running till October 10th 2018. All residents of ESA member states and associate members are eligible to make name suggestions via the online platform. The winner is given a tour of the Airbus facility in Stevenage, England, where the ExoMars rover is being developed and built.
