For this case study we provide three contributions to discuss and summarize technological steps from pre-processing to interpretation of microseismic data:

This case study is based on an industrial data set provided by one of our sponsors. We demonstrate the possibility of processing and interpreting hydraulic fracturing induced microseismicity with a low signal/noise ratio obtained from a restricted acquisition geometry. We provide work-flows for microseismic event localization as well as for determining fracture geometry and estimating hydraulic transport properties.
